Insane murder mystery. Very unserious and moving at the same time. The characters are a diverse cast of personalities and hair colors that remind me a bit of fruits basket, and the book is not afraid to poke fun at their extremities. Dee has a heart of gold and only wants acceptance, though it’s hardest finding that in himself.

The murders started out slow and small, with hints peppered throughout, but near the end everything was ramping up and the stakes got bigger and bigger and curveballs on the murderers identity kept being thrown. The ending was surprising but very satisfactory, and I couldn’t put it down for the last parts at all.
