5 stars for this YA novel. I could hardly stop myself from listening to it and the narration on the audiobook was superb. The characters were fleshed out and diverse and the story heartbreaking and inspiring. I think this book would allow young (and old) people to engage with and deepen their understanding of the issues covered. As an adult it was a very powerful read too.
