What a weirdly wholesome book! I loved the found family aspect of it and how the kids were written. However, this is a three star book for me because the ending felt rushed and I wanted MORE. The characters, except the kids, felt two-dimensional and some of the characters felt completely unnecessary, like Mary. Overall, this book is wholesome and a very quick read; but I wish there was more to it!
