This is a sensitive and simply-told story about a group of Asian Ugandans, who are forced to flee Uganda in the 1970s during Idi Amin's rule. This was quite a quiet novel but left a big impact on me. Highly recommend.

For fans of Yumna Kassab's The House of Youssef and Min Jin Lee's Free Food for Millionaires.
