I think I just need to stare off blankly for a few moments...

I thought the first 3/4 was really interesting to see all the character, relationship, world, and "sides" developed. I don't know why but I wanted to love Manon the whole time! I need Aelin and Rowan to seal the freaking deal! My heart still hurts about Sortia and Dorian. I am really happy that we have moved past the whole Chaol and Aelin fling and he has moved on.

The last quarter of the book just screwed over my mind. I wasn't totally sure where the plot was going but then so much unraveled all at once over the last few chapters and OMG am I excited for Empire of Storms now!

There's so many cute side character romances and there's so many loveable scenes. I can't decide if I like Aedion on his own but I know I love him and Lysandra. I hope we get to see more of Lysandra's shapeshifting abilities in Empire.

I am super excited to read Tower of Dawn after seeing just how much Chaol evolved. So much of what he thought and was raised for has been challenged over the last few books. Dorian and Chaol bromance forever!
