⁕ Schwab masterfully balances the nonlinear narratives of 2 separate people across 300 years and multiple continents. You wouldn’t expect it, but the story was SO easy to follow.
⁕ This wasn’t necessarily a book full of unpredictable plot twists, but in the best way possible. Schwab laid out clues like a trail of crumbs that I ATE UP, and I still cried when the inevitable happened.
⁕ The end of the book is probably one of the most satisfying I’ve ever read for a stand-alone.
