Radley and Lux meet in a bookstore where he saves her from falling over after she climbs up a bookshelf. They end up running into each other again at the bar and he ends up saving her again from some obnoxious frat boys that are bothering her. Both encounters are super quick and and neither recognize each other. After they leave the bar, Lux tries to save her again from a "creeper" and chaos ensures, that's when he finds out he is crushing on the presidents daughter. That encounter was absolutely hilarious.
After that point, I ate this book up. Radley has been through some hard stuff in the past that she is trying to overcome and she is so strong and fierce to not let that hold her back and become brave again. I love how she was able to conquer her fears and overcome her past.
Lux, ahhhh my man Lux, he was the sweetest guy to Radley, always encouraging her and never letting her doubt herself. He stood by her side and never pushed her too far out of her comfort zone. The way that man took care of her π₯Ή
These two were absolute perfection. It was such an adorable read!
