I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book at a local convention and man I'm glad I snatched it up before the pub date changed. I absolutely loved this book. I ADORE the fact that we are getting more own voices trans stories, as well as more Latinx representation. The chemistry between Yadriel and Julian is adorable and so fierce. When it comes to male love interests in YA, many suffer from the "no personality other than being hot" syndrome, but Julian definitely breaks that mold quite thoroughly. My only qualm would be that the story is a smidge too predictable, especially with the antagonist, but that hardly lessened any enjoyment I got from it.

Definitely will reccing it to anyone who is looking for more diverse teen fiction.
