The premise of this book had a lot of potential and grabbed my attention. Up until the middle of the book I quite liked it. A creepy town, lots of clocks ticking out of sinc, strange characters and an issue with time itself. Then it all went south. I DNFd the book at 55%. A week later I decided to try and finish it and I did but it was painful. It was repetitive, I began to feel I'd already read the page. I completely lost any hope of trying to picture a scene of any sort. All the characters seemed to dissappear, and the amount of times the word TIME was used was unreal. This is book 1 of 3 and tbh, I don't think I'll be reading the other 2. Sadly I did not enjoy this at all as it left me thinking wth happened 🤷🏻‍♀️
