I love this author. She writes so well and her main characters are always so lovable. I loved the chemistry between the main team. Morgan’s slightly dramatic personal life also adds to the story line instead of distracting. The murder is brutal and I definitely found it way more tense because I hadn’t read the blurb so wasn’t fully ready for one reveal. There are plenty of suspects and I was kept guessing until the very eventful ending.

I need a second book now because I want to see how Morgan gets on and see her new friendships bloom.
