Adventurous and filled with magic and mystery.

The main character takes a while to blossom and become likeable, for the beginning half of the book she mostly read very bland. But she does grow on you and comes through in the later part of the book.

The pacing of this book isn't consistent, there were really slow sections that were drug out and things that perhaps could have been more, were over in a split second.

Overall I enjoyed the magic elements and the history behind their world.
