A magic watch that has a different kingdom for each hour is a very cool concept. The adventure and friendship with Rose and Alejandro was great but this book left so much of the real world unsolved. No real development with her emotionally distant dad, and I know the ending is like wink wink she'll see Jo again! but OMG...she is dying of brain cancer and on the run I need something more substantial.
Minor: Homophobia
