I’m a huge fan of the dystopian genre and when I randomly came across this series on my kindle I got really excited by the premise. The second book didn’t hold up completely to its predecessor, but I am definitely still invested in seeing how this story plays out in the final book. I met my favorite characters in this book and I’m eager to see how things play out for them. My heart also broke at the end of this book and I have a terrible prediction for the way the overall story will end. I feel like it’s the best way to play out shock value. However, I desperately hope the authors found a different way. Maybe it will all just be happy at the end.
