It took me far too long to read this book - as they say, life happened. And reading this dark, dark book did not help much either. I understand that Stephen King is a favourite author; I never ever read any of his books before. This book was read as part of a reading challenge, and I definitely did not like it. A dark, horrifying tale told in a meandering way. And the ending did not make things any better. Disliked is a mild word indeed for this book - I shall strive to steer clear of his writings in the future.
