Vendetta in Death by J.D. Robb
3.0

This was a good one. I don't always like when we know who dun it early on even though we get to see more about how the killer is captured and the aftermath of that. As interesting as that is, other plot and character developments interest me more. This one wasn't so bad. We got to see how Eve matches evidence with intuition. Even so, it felt a bit easy. That being said, I liked that despite the type of case, we didn't get the same rehash of Eve's background again. Peabody got a lot more work on her own in this one too. One last thing is I think this series needs an update futuristically to stay relevant or realistic. Socially and environmentally things are behind real world events. And a lot of the tech is not as far off from today's as it was when this series began. Just some thoughts.
