If you like a misunderstood MMC allow me to introduce you to Abel because he may be the best representation of that trope I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading about. This man 🥹 I didn’t think much of him in the previous books, he just seemed dark and moody but getting to know him here opened up my eyes and now I’m obsessed. Sloane was the perfect compliment to him, she’s sunshine and light and the way she drew him out of his shell and showed him there was nothing about him that was shameful was everything. He’s never felt a sense of belonging before and the way he fit in with her and her adorable kids made me swoon and cry. Lena always brings the heat too and this was no exception 🥵 There’s been a mystery running throughout this series about the Kings mom and more details were revealed here and my jaw was on the floor, I need more information pls!! Loved this one and cannot wait for the next book
