I could not love this book any more then I do right now. I thought Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon was an unbeatable book about being different, but this title can stand tall right next to it. Molly Lou doesn’t need fancy toys and electronic gadgets because she has a yard, a box, and a sky. When a new girl moves in next door, Molly invites her to play the Grandma Melon way, and she is AMAZED.

I am amazed at this book. It is so light hearted and fun but with an important message about not needing materials things. Then you add the fun and awesome graphic by David Catrow and you have a picture book that should be one every kids shelf.
