Her Secret
by Penelope Bloom
If read as a stand alone then you will have no complaints. This is a decent story. Quick, cute, not too funny, really nothing special.
If you are reading this as part of the Objects of Attraction series you will be a bit irritated. The author missed the mark. She set up jokes that never came, she completely ignored a pregnancy she wrote into a previous book, and this is the second book where she fails to deliver promised revenge. I mean sure it's there but at a small scale boring level.
This couple is a bit boring. Grammy is the only person of interest. If I had been reading this as a stand alone and didn't have certain expectations I would have been fine. But I am emotionally invested in this series and was left feeling some kind of way.
