Marriage of convenience books will never not hit. Penny Reid's is no exception. There's something about basically marrying a stranger and then falling in love with them, overcoming all the obstacles that come with that. I loved Dan and Kat together, particularly Dan's eagerness and loveliness when it comes to helping Kat with her "issue". That in and of itself deserves all the stars because there's nothing better than a man who you tell your deepest fear to and he helps you through it, going above and beyond and putting you above himself and anything else. Dan the security man, we love you. This had everything: the tropes, the banter, the chemistry, the world building, the side characters, and a plot that definitely grabs your attention and doesn't let go because you just want to know what's going to happen.
