» QUICK OVERVIEW «
Stars: ★★☆☆☆
Plot: ★★☆☆☆
Readability: ★★★★★
Characters: ★★★☆☆
Writing: ★★★☆☆
Recommend: ✗
» PLOT «
Following the return of her former crush, Nova reunited with Tam, a werewolf. With a horse demon haunting the woods, Nova and Tam work together to weaponize her wolf magic to control the demon. As obstacles arise, Nova and Tam only grow closer together.
This book was fairly short so there wasn't much time spend on anything. However, the build up was long, while the climax and resolution were so short and rushed.
The romantic relationship between the two main characters heavily depended on past (not seen) interactions, so I really didn't see their connection or bond.
» READABILITY «
Fast paced and easy to read (like all graphic novels are).
» CHARACTERS «
The best characters were no doubt the grandmothers.
The two main characters were okay, but with the length and style of the book, most of the development were rushed.
» WRITING «
Like I said above, this felt really rushed and underdeveloped. This means most, if not all, of the introduced characters play a vital role.
» OVERALL «
Not a bad book, just wished it was longer... like another 400 pages longer.
