I knew this was a short story, but was not expecting it to only be 10 pages. There was no way to connect to the main character, who was a 10 year old girl, or to get a feel for her personality. All of the actions seemed rushed.

I do feel like this could have been more successful if the author could expand on the characters and the story and was made into a short novel or a longer short story.
