Intriguing tale of two mythical creatures who through convoluted reasons end up encountering each other in New York City circa the early 1900s. Poetic language and richly researched, the story took a long time to "take me away." Unfortunately the ending wrapped up too quickly after finally understanding the many questions brought up throughout.
