I learned a lot but I think I just don’t vibe with his writing style! The subject was interesting and I appreciate how he approached it and how much archival work went into writing this book. Maybe just too much irrelevant detail for me? I wish he integrated the institutional critiques of imperialism throughout the book rather than just at the end. But otherwise for all shipwreck lore fans (@ Heather) this will be a great read!
