I totally didn't realize that this book was a series until writing this review. It is a great stand-alone and you don't need to read the other books to understand any characters or plot, but I'm sure you'd appreciate the book even more if you did read in order. Hate To Date You by Monica Murphy inspired a variety of feelings in me. The tension between Carter and Stella was immense and, I too was rooting for them to get together. Their heartbreak, broke me and caused some tears. Which, always makes me feel like the book did a wonderful job getting me to care for the characters. I loved Stella's Nonna and felt like she brought some great humor and wisdom to the story. This is definitely a cute and fun romance!
