Vital Blindside by Hannah Cowan
4.0

I'm obsessed with the single parent trope now, and I don't mind it a bit. This book was wonderful and so fun to read. I enjoyed every bit of it. I loved the plot and the fact there wasn't any unnecessary drama going on. Adam and Scarlett are the cutest ever, and the age gap between them is so good. The fact that his mom, Beth, was nice and wasn't those evil ones that makes you want to rip your hair out. I LOVED HOW ADAM WAS THE SUNSHINE AND SCARLET WAS THE GRUMPY ONE. That suited them so well, and Adam made me giggle and smile with his personality throughout this book a million times. This book had many healthy relationships and we love to see it. Also, healthy coparenting between Adam and his son's mother. I recommend it for those whom are interested in: ex-hockey player, age gap, single parent, grumpy female and sunshine male.
