Onibi: Diary of a Yokai Ghost Hunter
by Atelier Sentô, Olivier Pichard, Cécile Brun
While the art style is charming and the folklore here is interesting, every other aspect of the story comes off as bland and shapeless. The story isn't told very linearly, which is fine, but confusing at times. The two main leads are very bland with little to no personality traits to even differentiate them. For children wanting to hear about cool monsters and gain an introductory look into them this is a neat place to start, but for people already in the know about them, there isn't much here to build on.
