antaraa 's review for:
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
by Haruki Murakami
My first proper novel by Murakami and second encounter. I was very excited to start this piece of work. and let me tell you I'm still excited to read his next work. But that doesn't mean it was pleasant journey.
Oh man. This was a roller coaster. I managed to start, and I wasn't ready for all the things and situations it had to offer, 3/4th of the book WTF IS HAPPENING AND WHY THE FUCK IS IT HAPPENING?!. I had my instances of just throwing the book far away. But I guess that's the thing of Murakami I just kept reading till I got bored and started hating every character and felt how unreal each of them are. But, those last 100 pages, it just felt good. maybe it was ending finally or maybe it just finally giving me some kind of connections.
I have mixed feeling. I'm in some other state at the moment.
