Loved the introductions to the authors of this book. Refreshingly honest and totally non judgemental. I haven't seen their youtube channel but will be sure to check it out.

Recipes are marked with soy free, nut free, gluten free, grain free for easy avoidance of desired components.

Pictures of most recipes is a huge plus! Definitely love the pictures and makes me more apt to make the food. The beginning of the book has some advice for cooking plant based, things you'll need in the kitchen, things that will be handy in the pantry. You get a few meal plan/prep pages with the breakdown of how to batch cook and prep the containers to provide a variety of meals. It includes the shopping list too which is nice. I love that there's not a bunch of weird crazy ingredients in this book. It's wholesome, cheap, easy to find whole food ingredients. Many of it is based on pantry items so you won't be running to the store multiple times a week.

I was able to receive an ARC copy complimentary from netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
