This book is told in multiple view points. Daisy marries Hal at age 20 and he is 33. Could there be something wrong with that? She also dropped out of college for him. Years later they are raising their teenage daughter who is a handful. Diana had something horrible happen to her one summer at the age 15. It’s hard for her to trust and made her drop out of school to become a waitress. These two characters meet and become friends.
I went into this book blind and I’m glad I did. I really loved their friendship and Beatrice. All these characters were complexed and it was great. I loved how twisty this was and because I went in blind, I did not see the twist coming. I definitely recommend this book.
