I was forced to read this at school while preparing for my English Language course, and by forced I mean I was told to start reading it but continuing was no chore at all. Classics such as these, I find enjoyable to read as well as young adult novels from the recent era. Breathtaking prose, touching characters and a heart breaking ending. Who said only lengthy novel can make an impact? This, in my opinion, was too short a book for my liking.
