Wow!
Just... wow!
I am a huge fan of Rick Riordan. My dad started reading us [book:The Lightning Thief|28187] when I was 8, and ever since I've read his books devoutly.
The representation in this book is amazing. Alex Fierro is a beautiful person, and she makes me so happy to read about. (For any who might get mad, yes, I know Alex is genderfluid. I am using the pronoun 'she' because Alex more often identifies that way, and doesn't like the pronoun they. So please don't get mad at me.) Alex is one of the best characters Rick has ever written, in my opinion, and is strong, courageous, and doesn't take any cr*p.

Magnus Chase is as funny as usual. He always sees the good in people, and is is a healer in every sense of the word. It was beautiful to read about him helping Amir learn while keeping his sanity.
Speaking of Amir, he and Samirah are an adorable couple. Their relationship is a constant throughout this book, even when all hope seems lost.
Rick Riordan has created a masterpiece in his mix of humor, representation, and mythology.
