The hype of this book finally got to me. I am not a romance reader, and if I do it's never a rom-com. But because of how loved this book is, and it's unique presence I decided to give it a try.

Well, it's cute. I'll give it that. But also predictable, and the snips of the 'Countess' novel had me bored and zoning out. But I liked Thea and Gavin and their cute daughters and so I was drawn to the main cast of characters. And the idea of a Bromance Book Club is adorable and I love that Gavin is trying so hard to save his marriage.

I think I'm just not the reader for these books. I prefer my rom-coms in movie form. In fact, that's how I was picturing this novel while reading. I think it would make a great romantic comedy movie!

I doubt I'll pick up more Bromance books but I did like it, and I will definitely recommend it to romance readers looking for something different.
