This book enraptured me. I didn't even realize that I was a couple hours into the audiobook until I had to stop for the night. This might be my favorite Simone St. James book yet! The audiobook gave me absolute goosebumps and I oscillated between rage and fear with some glimpses of hope in between. I'm not a big horror reader, BUT the way that SSJ incorporates a ghost story into a mystery always has me addicted even when I'm a bit afraid. The writing is superb and the way she makes the reader absolutely invested in these characters so quickly is like magic.

Please please read this book!! And listen to the audiobook if you can because it might give you heart palpitations, but it's worth it!
