This is the first book I’ve read from the series and whilst it read perfectly fine as a stand alone I did feel I was maybe missing a bit of the connection between the team, especially Frankie and Baz. I also found the pace on the slow side and there were a lot of characters that were difficult to keep track of. It was an interesting premise and even though the ending wasn’t predictable, which I liked, it did feel rushed. I did still enjoy the hunt for the bad guy though and will probably go back and read more from the series.
