I enjoyed this one more than I expected when I started it. There’s an entertaining story in here, you just have to deal with the very mid-40s gender stereotypes of manly, logical, scientific men who must keep their silly, frivolous women in line. Of course, when a successful husband finds his silly wife playing with witchcraft and makes her stop, things don’t go as he expects, so it could be argued that there’s some amount of subversion of the trope that’s part of the story, too.
