I think this belongs in my favorites but I'm not 100% sure.

It's really long and quite a heavy read. 500+ pages feels a bit excessive but I also liked this because I could really get lost into it. Definitely not something to pick out for some light, fun reading but if you want a good epic fantasy, this works wonderfully.

Some of the descriptions of genocide was actually so awful that I nearly lost my appetite.

I'm planning on reading the sequels but I need something lighter and funnier before I get into those.
