The Fall Risk is another win from Abby Jimenez. Even though it’s a short story, it packs in all the heart, humor, and relatability she’s known for. I loved how she took a typically taboo topic and handled it with a light, witty touch without minimizing its seriousness. It felt real, raw, and surprisingly funny in all the best ways. It's a quick read, but one that will definitely stick with you—especially if you’ve ever been in a situation where you had to watch your back. Another charming, smart story from an author who always gets it right.
