This was interesting. The story went in a direction I wasn't really expecting and I'm not yet sure how I feel about it.

I thought the story sounded intriguing from the blurb...it started out ok but there were a few things I struggled with. I am someone who gets invested in the characters and there just wasn't enough in this story that allowed me to do this. Everything seemed really rushed and I just didn't have the opportunity to get to know any of them.

The way the author brings out the good vs. evil theme is interesting and the resolution like the rest of the story felt rushed.

Overall I thought this was an ok story and it is a quick read. It has some angst, a bit of mystery, paranormal and of course the love story...a little bit of everything.
