This romantic contemporary with serious undertones is a good fit for fans of Sarah Dessen.

Overall I enjoyed it, though it was definitely slow and I often found myself lacking motivation. I was never quite bored, but never quite engaged either. In the end it was a good character-based novel with beautiful character development. The plot was just a bit lacking for my taste.
