This is the second instalment in a series and I had to read the first one as it's a book that can be read as a standalone.
It's a mix of genre: romantic suspense, romance, time travel, paranormal and some historical fiction.
It's a highly entertaining story because the mix works well and the authors developed two very interesting and likeable characters: Liam and Cora.
Liam is a fascinating rogue, you cannot help liking him. Cora is a strong willed and independent woman who knows what she wants and it's not easy to push her with a man as requested by the angels.
The plot is fast paced and full of twists, the mystery part is solid and I enjoyed it.
There will be another book in this series so be prepared to wait in order what will happen.
