I have mixed feelings on this book. Although I liked the premise and I do enjoy reading about Eddie Flynn in court, this all just fell a bit flat for me. It was a bit odd at time jumping POV's and felt like both so much was happening and nothing was happening all in the same breath. I rapidly grew tired of reading about the sexual harassment Kate was putting up with at work. The actual court case itself perked the book back up and the thought that went in to all the false trails that were planned (even if the fact they were false trails was a little obvious). However, some of the chapters just felt like a slog to get through and by the time I was done, I was glad it was over. It gave very mam's book club pick vibes to me,
