This had so much potential, but unfortunately just fell flat for me. I couldn't stand the main character, it took too long to get going, and the way the characters spoke! Also there are so many mentions of the way characters smell that just didn't fit with what was happening in the story. I get giving your readers details, but we don't need to be told over and over when a character smells like cinnamon.
