A slim sci-fi comic set in a dangerous dystopian world. Three kids cross a scared and wild landscape searching for pieces of usable technology. Nearly all technology has been eaten by an invasive alien species knows as the "Pippers"- these huge, multi-jointed monsters drift slowly across the country side looking for more pieces to consume. They don't specifically target humans, but their attacks can dissolve any known substance into sand. One of the children stumbles across an amazing find: a fully functioning robotic horse. She instantly falls in love, despite her peril. As soon as she and the horse emerge from underground, the Pippers are after them and it is race to see who can out-maneuver whom.
