Mini Audiobook Review: Thank you so much to PRH Audio for the complimentary copy of this!

This book will be published on August 29th.

The 4th and final installment of the American Royals is dropping on Tuesday and I am so sad that this series is coming to an end! I first discovered this series last year when I was fortunate enough to get an advance copy of Rivals and had gone back to read the first two.  I was hooked!!!

I am going to try my best to give away too much as where would be fun for the future reader.

It is easy to suspend reality while reading this and how cool it would to have royalty in America.  This book picks up right where the 3rd book left off.

  • Bea was always my favorite character while reading in this series and we start right in the mix of her coma. I just loved her strength and how she just wanted to do right by her country and wanted to take on the task of being the Queen.
  • I felt really bad for Samantha who pretty much just ran away from everything and had no clue about what was happening back home.
  • Daphne was typical Daphne who roped Prince Jefferson into proposing to her in the worst way but also so very Daphne.
  • And then there is Nina who is trying her best to not want to be with Prince Jefferson and moving on from him.

I thought this book wrapped up all the characters nicely. I was very happy where everyone ends up.
Even though this is a long audio (clocking in at almost 13 hours), I thought it went by rather quick. I think having the 4 storylines with some of them interconnecting helped with the pacing of the book.

I really enjoyed seeing how the characters grew throughout this book. Each one of them found themselves in some way.

With all the excitement with royalty, I think this series would be a lot of fun adapted to screen for a tv show. There is definitely plenty of drama!

Once again Brittany Pressley knocks it out of the park tackling the 4 point of views. It wouldn't have felt right if anyone else besides her did the narration.

I am very excited to see where Katharine goes from here and if she will start a new series or do just stand alones? Will she dive into adult romance? So many questions!
