This definitely wasn’t as good as the first book.
There was a lot of pining in this book and it got annoying at times. But there were some really good parts that made up for it. Had it not been for those really good parts this probably would have been a 3 star read for me. I prefer my heroines to have a better idea of what they’re doing before they do it and that was not the case in this book. She started to realize things towards the end but after one whole book I feel like it shouldn’t have been so hard for her to make up her mind. Maybe that’s just me ...
Overall this was a pretty solid duology though! I’d definitely recommend reading it!
