Overall, this series is just not for me. It has its moments, but more often than not, I wasn't a fan. I also cannot stand Feyre!

This book in particular, I felt like I lost a huge part of Rhys that I loved in the first two books, and I'm not chalking it up to "character development." And for a book about an impending war with 'mighty armies grappling for power,' I thought there was a very low percent of actual war 🤷‍♀️
It's quite predictable and too neat for me.

To each their own, though! I adore Throne of Glass (it's my favorite series), but ACOTAR isn't my jam.
