It's good, but just like the King in Black standalone book, a lot of stuff is key moments are left out of this collection, leading to quite a bit of whiplash when the final battle starts and then the next chapter skips *everything* to explore the resolution.

I've read both of the main King in Black books, so I can guarantee the story is good and extremely satisfying if you've been reading since the beginning of Cates' run, I just can't recommend this specific collection. If possible, get your hands on a digital copy of the omnibus. It'll read better all collected.
