Having such an eclectic reading taste it’s easy to forget that I like historical fiction and Oh My Word, I LOVED The Miniaturist. It was rich with scandal, secrets, secrets within secrets, mystery and witchcraft. The characters were well written and the writing itself was flawless and flowed beautifully. Such a well-crafted, brilliant novel
