It's just annoying that he was planning on leaving at the end of the book, but was so selfish to lead her to believing he wasn't going to until he did. I get the self-sacrifice bull crap of his character, but give me a break. Otherwise I found it very interesting to hear all from his side through the book. I read as a companion to my Twilight re-read. It was just a bit better than the original itself in my opinion. More mature, more details to it from the vampire side.
