Done Dirt Cheap by Sarah Nicole Lemon
4.0

Tourmaline and Virginia have recently graduated from high school, but they didn't exactly run in the same circles. That's changed now that Virginia's sleazy "boss" wants her to spy on Tourmaline's family - the local motorcycle club known as The Wardens.

Tourmaline has put a lot of effort into NOT being just the daughter of the MC president, church youth group included. Her autumn plans include going to college, NOT falling for the club's newest conscript, and NOT hanging out with the weird, pretty loner girl who all of a sudden wants to be besties.

The friendship that evolves in this story is one that was born of necessity but grows in a mutual understanding of just how hard it is to be a woman in a world of men, even when some men believe that they are doing right by you. This book is lush, evocative, and compelling. It took me about 100 or so pages to really dive in (such is the way when your two main characters are keeping secrets from each other), but at one point I was *all in*, and it snuck up on me when I realized I was reading WAY past my bedtime.
